He is very sensitive to human sufferings and is ever compassionate towards the poor, needy, meek, downtrodden, ignored and helpless.
	Born on 12th. February,1920 at Delhi in the lap of luxury in a prosperous family, endowed with a super intellect and equipped with the natural gift of an artist, he has a congenial background and credentials in the shape of dignified paternity and noble family traditions. Illustrious son of our motherland, Pran has a heart of gold. He is generous, noble, emotional and a sensitive soul. Refined and cultured in his outlook and habits. He commands highest respect and is loved and admired by everyone. Being frank and forthright, he relishes a vital colorful action packed life. His lust is not success but duty well done. Pran was educated at different places namely Kapurthala, Unnao, Meerut, Dehradun and Rampur as his father late Lala Kewal Krishnan Sikand was a Government Civil Contractor for the construction of roads and bridges. Kalsi bridge near Dehradun was constructed by him.
	Pran got married in the year 1945 with the most noble and graceful girl Shukla and their first son Arvind was born on 11th. August 1946. Now, Pran is the father of two sons and a daughter. Arvind who is very well settled in London is doing his own business there. Arvind is a proud father of a daughter and son. Second son, Sunil, who is a director in films is the father of a charming son. Pran's daughter Pinky is married to Mr.Vivek Bhalla and she is the proud mother of a sweet daughter and son.
	Pran has a very social nature and he is member of various organizations like Punjab Association, Mumbai, CCI club Mumbai, Bombay Provincial Hockey Association, Western Indian Football Association Bombay, Chelmsford Club Delhi, Press Club of India Delhi, Otters Club Bombay, and Play-mate Club Bombay. Being a sports lover and a good sportsmen he had his own football team "DYNAMOS FOOTBALL CLUB" which he financed for a number of years . His favourite hobbies now are watching sports ( football, hockey, cricket ), gardening, reading and looking after his pet dogs. He has never lived without a dog since his childhood except for one year during partition. His father was also a dog lover. Today Pran at the age of 80, is a satisfied man with an illustrious 60 years career in the film industry and feels if he is born again he would like to be born as PRAN again.
